Terms of Service

Dubnivo provides voice samples, subtitle translation and speech generation, original-text comparison, listening and note exports. Source languages, output languages and Standard or Premium quality depend on the available options on the generation page. Original text written to demonstrate the voice and player.

Please submit only content that you own or for which you have obtained translation, speech synthesis, and related usage permissions. A public video link by itself does not grant redistribution rights. Auto subtitles only retrieve the English subtitles already available for the video; if no English subtitles are available or access is restricted, please import the text manually. There is currently no public dubbed-audio library.

AI translation and synthesis may contain errors; please verify technical terms, numbers, and quotations against the source. Up to 12,000 characters, or about 20 minutes of source content, per request; tasks are subject to service capacity and provider quotas, and playback is available only after processing is complete.

New character plans charge the Standard or Premium pool for the selected quality. Output is counted in Unicode codepoints, including spaces and punctuation. The character reservation limit is shown before submission. Successful jobs settle actual generated characters and release unused reservations. Failed jobs return reserved characters, but the generation attempt remains used. Automatic subtitle retrieval has a separate quota. The reserved retrieval count is restored on failure. This site's cache hits and manual imports use no subtitle retrievals.

Monthly quotas roll over for one cycle. Earlier-expiring quotas are used first.

Subscription generation and subtitle retrieval counts do not roll over.

Packs are valid for 365 days from verified payment, without automatic renewal.

Replaying existing audio uses no characters. Changing the output language or voice creates a new generation charged to its quota pool.

Legacy minute orders continue under their original minute rules and are not automatically converted into new character plans. The following minute rules apply only to legacy orders.

The account edition uses a minute balance. Creating a task reserves source minutes; they are deducted on success and refunded on failure. Network retries of the same task will not be deducted again. One minute is estimated as every 150 English words or every 280 non-whitespace Chinese characters, rounded up. The actual audio playback duration may differ.

Lock screen and background playback depend on the device and browser. Downloaded audio can be played by the local player. Generated audio follows account access; listening progress and notes are saved in the current browser, and there is currently no private RSS.

Please keep your password and the recovery code provided at registration safe. When email verification or email recovery is not configured, a contact email cannot replace the recovery code.

Production payments are processed by Creem. The checkout determines the final amount, taxes, billing period and merchant information. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly; yearly subscriptions renew yearly, with quotas granted monthly, 12 times per year. You can open the Creem customer portal from your account to cancel future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment. Paid entitlements remain until their respective expiry dates.
