Estimated packs: 1

Pack cost: USD 4.90 (before final taxes)

These packs include 100,000 characters, 40 generation attempts and 40 subtitle retrievals.

Packs = max(⌈characters / 100,000⌉, ⌈generation attempts / 40⌉, ⌈subtitle requests / 40⌉)

Round each up and take the maximum; do not add the three counts.

New packs only; existing balances are not subtracted. This does not guarantee translation length, successful jobs or purchase capacity. Estimate each quality separately.

Pricing questions

Do I need a subscription?

No. A Standard pack costs USD 4.90 for 100,000 Standard characters, 40 generation attempts and 40 automatic subtitle retrievals. A Premium pack costs USD 5.90 for 50,000 Premium characters, 10 generation attempts and 10 subtitle retrievals. Both are one-time purchases without automatic renewal.

How are characters counted? How many video minutes is that?

Characters are the Unicode codepoints of the actual generated output text, including spaces and punctuation. For example, “A中🙂” counts as 3 characters. There is no fixed conversion to video minutes: language, speaking speed and content vary. Standard and Premium character pools are separate.

When do packs and subscription quotas expire?

Packs expire 365 days after verified payment. Subscriptions grant quotas monthly. Characters roll over for one cycle, with earlier-expiring quotas used first; generation attempts and subtitle counts do not roll over. Annual billing provides 12 monthly grants, not a full-year quota upfront. Cancellation stops future renewal; paid entitlements keep their own expiry dates.

What happens to quotas when generation fails?

A job reserves characters before generation. Success settles actual generated characters and returns unused reservations. Failure returns reserved characters, but the generation attempt remains used. Automatic TTS retry does not consume another user generation attempt; manually submitting a new job does.

Are failed subtitle retrievals refunded?

Failed paid retrievals restore the reserved subtitle count. Valid subtitle cache hits within your account and manual imports use no retrieval count. The Google free trial includes only 1 automatic subtitle retrieval attempt, which is not restored after dispatch even if it fails. Eligibility and place limits still apply. Automatic retrieval currently supports only existing English video subtitles.

Does replaying audio or changing its language or voice cost characters?

Replaying your already-generated audio uses no generation characters. Audio is kept online for 7 days; download it during that period. A different output language or voice needs a new generation and uses the matching character pool and generation attempt.

How does the pack calculator work?

It calculates packs needed separately for total output characters, generation attempts and paid automatic subtitle retrievals, rounds each up, then takes the largest count. All three quotas come in the same pack; their counts are not added together. Use 0 captions for manual imports. Include failed jobs you plan to resubmit as additional generation attempts.

Is the estimate my final price?

The estimate covers new packs at current prices. It does not read or subtract existing balances, predict translation length, retries or taxes. Allow for any extra attempts. Actual sale capacity and final taxes depend on availability and checkout. Estimate Standard and Premium needs separately.

How are new videos handled?

Replaying existing audio uses no characters. Changing the output language or voice creates a new generation charged to its quota pool.

Audio is kept online for 7 days and can be downloaded while retained.

How are credits and refunds handled?

Cancellation stops renewals. Paid quotas remain until their respective expiry dates.

New generation attempts include failed jobs. Reserved characters are returned on failure; the attempt is not.

Automatic subtitle retrieval has a separate quota. The reserved retrieval count is restored on failure. This site's cache hits and manual imports use no subtitle retrievals.
