Payment and refund policy

The test checkout uses simulated payments and does not collect real funds. Real charges will only occur after official payments are explicitly opened on the checkout and within the site.

Production payments are processed by Creem. The checkout determines the final amount, taxes, billing period and merchant information. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly; yearly subscriptions renew yearly, with quotas granted monthly, 12 times per year. You can open the Creem customer portal from your account to cancel future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment. Paid entitlements remain until their respective expiry dates.

New character plans charge the Standard or Premium pool for the selected quality. Output is counted in Unicode codepoints, including spaces and punctuation. The character reservation limit is shown before submission. Successful jobs settle actual generated characters and release unused reservations. Failed jobs return reserved characters, but the generation attempt remains used. Automatic subtitle retrieval has a separate quota. The reserved retrieval count is restored on failure. This site's cache hits and manual imports use no subtitle retrievals.

Partial refunds withdraw characters, generation attempts and subtitle retrievals for that payment in proportion to its verified cumulative monetary refund. Future entitlements not yet granted are adjusted by the same proportion. Full refunds or payment disputes withdraw the corresponding entitlements. Refunded entitlements already consumed may leave an outstanding quota balance and pause new generations. Contact support for review.

Orders with a full discount or zero-value review payment do not charge money and have no paid amount to refund. Their entitlements still require order verification and are withdrawn according to verification results if the order is reversed or disputed. Test, zero-value and production paid orders are recorded separately; test and zero-value orders do not represent revenue.

If you are charged twice, quotas are not granted after payment, or a service failure prevents use, submit the order reference and a description through the help page, or contact support@getpodtube.com for review. You may request a refund for unused character-plan entitlements. Used entitlements are reviewed against actual consumption, service failures and applicable consumer rights.

Audio is retained for 7 days. Please download it promptly. Returning to the page after a successful payment does not itself mean the quota has arrived; refer to the account balance and order records.

Legacy minute orders continue under their original minute rules and are not automatically converted into new character plans. The following minute rules apply only to legacy orders.

When a generation task is created, source content minutes are reserved; they are deducted upon success and automatically returned upon failure. One minute is estimated as every 150 English words or every 280 non-whitespace Chinese characters, rounded up; the actual dubbed duration may differ. A single submission can contain at most 20 minutes of content.

If you were charged twice, did not receive credits after payment, or cannot use the service due to a service failure, you can submit your order number and a description of the issue from the help page, or email support@getpodtube.com. Unused minutes are eligible for a refund; used portions must be handled based on the circumstances of the failure and in accordance with applicable consumer rights. Once the refund is confirmed, the relevant minutes will be withdrawn; refunded credits that have already been consumed may cause the balance to temporarily become negative.
